About

My name is Andy Fenwick, and I decided to start a blog to talk about computer graphics, computer games, board games, science and anything else I find interesting.  I’m a programmer and worked at Rare/Microsoft for 10 years, mainly working on graphics.  In my time there I worked on Conker: Live & Reloaded, Viva Pinata, Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, and Kinect Sports and Kinect Sports Season 2.  However, at the end of 2012 I decided it was time to move on and now I’m doing work on tablet/mobile apps for business.

  2. Hi!
I found your “Galaxy Arena” game a while back, downloaded it, and played it with some friends.
It is definitely one of my favorite indie games. (Second to UNDERTALE)
I’d just like to say your work is amazing and it’d be great if you continued to update this blog.

    • Thanks for the kind words! I hope to get the time to get back to the blog and the game eventually, but I have a one year old daughter, not-so-coincidentally born around about when I stopped updating them…

The game was only ever intended to be a quick free prototype so I doubt I’ll ever polish it to the standards of a releasable game, but there are a few more things I wanted to add to stop the game dragging on at the end (when you get a couple of survivors chasing each other around for ages). Glad you enjoyed it though!
